My Mythical Sirens theme apps combined have had over 500,000 downloads - hooray!

Mythical Sirens Summer Night is a decorative theme app for the Firefox Browser, incorporating my decorative magic-realist characters rendered as pixel art icons. Tiny flowers and mythical creatures adorn every button, bar, slider, checkbox, and icon. Published by Mozilla Firefox.

I also created the Mythical Sirens Sunset Garden media player theme app, which features a pixel art landscape background and custom sliders and buttons. Published by WinAmp Media Player.

I love pixel art and the open-source movement, and it's delightful to infuse an everyday app with magical creatures and bright colors, allowing people to frame their ordinary days with a touch of whimsical fantasy.

Landing Pages, User Experience Design, and Infographics for Speck Products

The goal of these pages is to help visitors discover which cases and bags will fit their computer or device most perfectly, even if they are not sure which device model they have. These are landing pages, designed to be the first page visitors see after they have clicked on a product or an ad.

The design needed infographics to help visitors figure out what device they have, direct them to which cases and bags will fit their device, and illustrate the features and colorways of each case or bag.

Icons and App Interface Design for Electric Sheep Fractal Animation Group

I designed the sheep logo, app icons, and interfaces for the Electric Sheep: Infinite Evolving Wallpaper art group, a gorgeous live fractal animation art project. Electric Sheep has has won a multitude of awards, and it's watched by thousands of people all over the world every day via its streaming channel and apps.

I like to bring a thematic sensibility to interface design. The app icons are designed to match the sheep logo icon, and to reference the cloudy, dreamy nature of fractal animations.

Interactive Design, Graphic Design, and Web Coding for Speck Products

One of my favorite clients, Speck Products, makes beautiful and functional hi-tech cases and bags. I've written code and created a wide variety of different web graphics for their site, using their design and code guidelines, to feature their diverse array of accessories. Here are a few of the many web graphics and coded modules I've designed for the Speck Products website: all these are designed to fit within the site and showcase the features of the different products.

Theme App Design and Portfolio Site for Scott Draves and Google Artist Themes

I designed a portfolio website and theme app designs for Scott Draves, software artist and creator of the Electric Sheep fractal animation group. The portfolio and theme apps were released around the same time and designed to have a similar look, featuring Scott's amazing bright and wild fractal art.

I designed and coded the portfolio site myself, "from scratch", hooray! For the theme apps, I wrote code and designed the app interface graphics within Google's guidelines and requirements for iGoogle and Google Chrome frameworks. The iGoogle theme changes its background and interface colors at different times of the day - hooray! The Google theme apps were released by Google Chrome and iGoogle, and were commissioned and published by Google Artist Themes.

Web Design, Interactive Design, and Information Graphics for Fast ForWord

Fast ForWord is an amazing software program dedicated to helping people learn how to read, speak, and understand language. Scientific Learning, their parent company, tests all their programs scientifically, and they have a lot of results and information they need to share. Here are a few pages I designed for their site, showing progress results across different locations, subjects, and student groups. I also designed a color-coded navigation system for their training website.
